I hired Felicia Williams for a custody case issue, turned out a total fiasco. I have custody of two children. The non-custodial parent owed thousands of dollars in Child support. Before Felicia took my case, I had already received favorable recommendations by the Magistrate. Due to her incompetence and lack of preparation, the judge turned the recommendations upside down costing me a loss of 4 years of child support. At that point, although late, I realized my mistake and I asked her to get off my case. I heard nothing afterwards until I got a communication from the court that the magistrate wrote new recommendations against me and I was to pay legal fees to the attorney of the non-custodial parent. I was shocked. I learned later that Felicia did not sign off my case, took the liberty to represent me in another hearing without my permission, and to add insult to injury, screw up. I was outraged, asked her to get off my case immediately, and started representing myself. I filed exceptions to those recommendations, got the transcript of the hearing, and successfully fought off those attorney fees. Shockingly, the transcript showed that Felicia forgot that she had repesented me in the first hearing. The magistrate in his own words and astonishment said "Mom, you are playing !" I can not believe that she has a license to practice. Her ratings are misleading. Stay away.
